This course is designed to familiarize students with the basic concepts of quality assurance as applied to diagnostic x ray equipment. As x ray equipment has become more complex, the need for radiographers to understand detailed operational parameters and limitations of equipment has become increasingly more important. This course will provide students with the necessary theoretical background and experimental skills to permit them to function effectively as part of a team to measure and evaluate radiographic quality assurance programs. Prerequisite(s): RAD 237.
