The first semester course teaches orientation and human relations in the workplace and safe work habits. Emphasis is on standard machine design, construction and maintenance. Students are introduced to workplace safety, measurement, lathes, milling and grinding. Drill press machine operations and setup are demonstrated and practiced. Prerequisite: MAT 020 Co requisites: AED 105; MTT 141
