This high intermediate course focuses on the speaking and listening and note taking skills that are necessary in an academic setting. Students will discuss academic reading materials in small groups and begin to develop a method for delivering an oral presentation to a large group. Students will continue to develop a system for academic note taking and learn how to use their notes to answer comprehension questions and summarize lectures. Prerequisite(s): ESL Placement test.
