This laboratory component is intended to provide students with experiential learning in support of concepts and principles introduced in the lecture class. Students will be trained in basic shielded metal arc welding, including F 3 and F 4 filler stringer beads, pad weld, filet weld, all position and oxy fuel basic including torch safety, oxy cutting, brazing, soldering. Class: 12 hour lab weekly. Prerequisite: MAT 020; Co requisite: WEL 120.
