GIS 200 is an advanced class for students who have taken GIS 100 and wish to advance their skills in an applied fashion. The focus of the course is on development of individual projects. Students will define a real world problem and develop a GIS application which can be used to analyze the problem and make recommendations toward a solution. Students will prepare a report and do a public presentation of their work at the end of the course. Class sessions are used to work on software applications and to meet with individual students to discuss the progress of their projects. Prerequisite: GIS 100
