This course will develop the skills needed to perform a patient assessment including scene safety, history taking, techniques of physical exam, documentation, and the recognition and treatment of life threatening conditions. A complete overview of the respiratory system and respiratory management are covered in this course, as well as the pathophysiology of shock including fluid and electrolytes and acid base balance.
