This class consists of lectures as well as hands on skills in the classroom. After reaching competency in patient assessment skills, students will concentrate on environmental emergencies, behavioral and psychiatric disorders, obstetrical and gynecological emergencies, geriatric emergencies, patients with special challenges, and acute interventions for chronic care patients. Prerequisite(s): AHS 202; BIO 132, BIO 133; EMP 103; EMP 115; EMP 116; EMP 123.
