This class will consist of lecture as well as hands on practice in the classroom. After reaching competency in patient assessment skills, students will concentrate on airway and ventilation, respiratory disorders, nervous system disorders, endocrinology, anaphylaxis, gastroenterology, renal failure, hematology, toxicology, and infectious and communicable diseases. Prerequisite(s): AHS 202; BIO 132; BIO 133; EMP 103; EMP 115; EMP 116; EMP 123.
