The second of two courses, this course is a comprehensive overview of automotive electronic fuel injection systems and vehicle emission systems. Students will learn to utilize proper diagnostic procedures and determine appropriate corrective procedures to repair, replace or install components that cause poor engine performance. Students will be introduced to emission controls, their purpose on OBDII engines and their effect on engine performance when they are not operating properly. This course includes two hours of lecture and four hours of lab. Prerequisite: AUT 205; AUT 206.
