This course is an introduction to basic hand drafting of building components and the proper setup and use of levels, transits and lasers commonly used within the industry. Students will be introduced to reading basic house plans and drafting details from given criteria using a scale ruler. Leveling will include the proper use of builder's level, water level, laser level and transit. The course includes a variety of activities involving the use of the instruments. Pre or co requisite: CON 105. Co requisite: CON 125.
