CV 106 - Clinical Practicum I

All students will rotate through the clinical affiliate hospitals. Students will be assigned to select departments (cardiac catheterization, echocardiography, non invasive cardiography, ambulatory cardiac care unit, cardiac rehabilitation and the open heart surgical suite). The rotations are primarily observational and provide students with the opportunity to see the various tests and surgeries patients with cardiovascular disease experience. Limited performance of non invasive tasks under direct supervision is permissible. Prerequisite(s): BIO 130; BIO 131; Corequisites: CV 100; CV 105.
