This course will provide an overview of parametric solid modeling software for mechanical applications using SolidWorks. Students will learn to use sketch planes, create solid parts, place solid features, create assemblies, attach constraints, create presentations and generate drawing files. There will be an emphasis placed on the use of Inventor as a design tool. Prerequisite(s): AED 105 or AED 116.
