The first of a three term sequence of mathematics for prospective elementary and middle school teachers. Topics include; mathematical patterns, problem solving, sets, natural numbers, whole numbers, one-to-one correspondence, numeration systems, tests of divisibility, prime and composite numbers, greatest common divisor, least common multiple, computer literacy activities, and elementary school activities in mathematics.
