ENG 108 covers the Renaissance, Neoclassical, Romantic, and Modern periods of Western literature as well as some contemporaneous literatures worldwide. ENG 109 deals exclusively with non-Western literatures, including those from Asian, African, and non-Western cultures worldwide. Courses need not be taken in sequence. 3 lecture hrs/wk. F, W, S
