Computer controlled engine systems are studied, including operation, testing, and trouble-shooting. Emphasis is placed on trouble-shooting, diagnosis, and repair of specific complaints. Techniques used for detecting faulty coils, distributor components, engine emission components, fuel components and fuel system air fuel ratios are studied. Laboratory exercises involve the use of computer controlled system testers, infrared exhaust analyzers, and other advanced equipment. Prerequisite: AUT 259. 26 lecture/78 lab hrs. (26 days) F
