This course provides a basic understanding of leadership and group dynamics theory and assists the student in developing a personal philosophy of leadership, an awareness of the moral and ethical responsibilities of leadership, and an awareness of one's own ability and style of leadership. The course provides the opportunity to develop essential leadership skills through study and observation of the application of these skills. The course encourages students to develop their leadership potentials and to engage in productive leadership behavior. (3 lect hrs/week)
