This course provides the student with a basic understanding of AC/CD electrical principles which are the foundation of all higher level electrical courses. Topics covered include atomic structure, magnetism, Ohm's Law, magnetic induction, resistors, inductors, capacitors, and electrical filter systems. This course emphasizes safe work procedures and provides a foundation for more technical areas of study. Prerequisites/Corequisites Corequisite courses: ELTR1515- Electrical Concepts.
