This course is designed to provide an initial exposure to several sonography departments in hospitals and clinical settings. Students will observe the role of clinical sonographers in a clinical setting. This course will provide the opportunity to apply didactic knowledge to the clinical environment by observing normal and abnormal sonographic anatomy of the human body. Students will also be scanning in the simulated clinical lab to help them maintain their scanning skills throughout the summer. Prerequisite(s): DMSG1402, DMSG1404, DMSG1406 (2 C: 0 lect/pres, 0 lab, 2 other)
