The goal of the learning community at SCTC is to promote student success. In their first two semesters, students participating in the learning community will take courses that establish a foundation for all of their remaining college course work. As part of the learning community they will have increased opportunities to make the social connections that support student success. In addition, faculty teaching classes offered as part of the learning community will coordinate assignments and class activities to provide additional reinforcement for learning.
