The student will study the principles of force, motion, acceleration, deceleration, work, power, energy, thermodynamics and the properties of solids, liquids, and gases. They will apply this knowledge through experimentation and problem solving. NOTES: For details of topics covered in Principles of Engineering PLTW 1502, please refer to the appropriate Tech Prep articulation agreement. This variable course is designed to allow students with Tech Prep College credit for PLTW 1502 that was earned in high school to complete the remaining course requirements for CADD 1521 at SCTC.
