The policies and procedures of the Minnesota Care and Child Care Assistance programs will be covered. Students will become familiar with appropriate navigational techniques, along with a basic understanding of the systems' functions. This course covers the standard forms used, referreals, and client interactions appropriate with employed people needing financial assistance. Through simulated case entry into the computer systems, students will practice a variety of intake and case maintenance procedures. (3 C: 2 lect/pres, 1 lab, 0 other) Note: Offered at Pine Tech
