This course is intended to give the student an in-depth experience in Swiss CNC turning. The student's time will be spent learning the programming software and advanced programming language necessary to complete multi-axis and multi-operations on the machine. The use of special Swiss CNC cutting tools will be emphasized. The use of high precision inspection tools such as optical comparators and high precision measuring tools will be an integral part of the course. Prerequisite(s): MACH1514 (3 C: 0 lect/pres, 3 lab, 0 other)
