Students will read, discuss, and analyze various types of multicultural literature. Multicultural literature refers to works written by African American, Asian American, Native American, and Latino authors. It can also refer to works that deal with issues of race, gender, class, ethnicity, religion, sexuality, and nationality. Prerequisite(s): READ0304, ENGL0304 or Appropriate Accuplacer Score.
