With the construction of today's vehicles, welding is an important part of auto body repair. This course covers basic welding, safety procedures, application for welding on steel and galvanized metals, introduction to metal arc welding, oxy-acetylene welding and cutting. Major emphasis is placed on MIG (Metal Inert Gas), and plasma cutting according to I-Car standards. (3 C: 1 lect/pres, 2 lab, 0 other)
