This course introduces current management principles, concepts, and organizational trends, in addition, also acknowledge that it's everyone's job to manage information systems, from the top executive to the receptionist. The course will provide a strong, management-based background using a humanistic approach for managing and supervision staff. The course will also include managing human resources, working with groups and teams, managing essential administrative services, and managing workplace systems and technology. Technological changes in the workplace demand that each employee be computer-oriented with knowledge of efficiency techniques relative to business systems. Prerequisite(s): BUSM1200, CPTR1300, ADMS1202, ADMS1208, ADMS1240 or ADMS1208 or ADMS1237 (3 C: 3 lect/pres, 0 lab, 0 other)
