ADVR 1220 - Computer Imaging and Editing-Modified Course for Tech Prep

Using a leading image editing software application, students will learn to create color corrections and special effects using photographic and computer generated images. In addition, they will learn the functions of this application to create and process images for various outputs, including print media, multimedia and web images. The basics of scanning will be covered. Design and color theory are taught as integral parts of this class. NOTES: For details of topics covered in the high school variable course please refer to the appropriate Tech Prep articulation agreement. This variable course is designed to allow students with Tech Prep College credit for ADVR 1220 that was earned in high school to complete the remaining course requirements at SCTC. This SCTC course (ADVR 1220) will be delivered concurrently with ADVR 1221. ( C: 0 lect/pres, 0 lab, 0 other)
