This course is designed to develop student ? ability to effectively communicate in groups. Topics studied include group formation, leadership styles, problem-solving techniques, group roles and management of group conflict. In-class and group activities are used to develop small-group interaction and presentation skills. Prerequisite: SPCH 1300 with a grade of "C" or better or consent of instructor; ENGL 1311 recommended. (3 credit hours)
