This course is a practical, clinical component with an emphasis on total patient care of the medical surgical patient. As students progress through the course, patient assignment load will increase to develop time management skills and assist in the transition from student role to Licensed Practical Nurse role. Students will continue to deliver individualized nursing care and administer medications under supervision. Prerequisites: All previous term courses. (4 credit hours)
