This course acquaints students with disabilities they may encounter in the child care setting and familiarizes them with the effects of early intervention and mainstreaming and working on a multidisciplinary team. Students also learn how to adapt traditional materials for children with special needs. Prerequisites: ECD 1003, ECD 1103 and ECD 1203. (3 credit hours)
