This is an introductory electronic course for all ELT and IEL students. However, some Air Conditioning and Refrigeration students may want to take this course because the HVACR field is becoming more electronic. Basic electronic circuit and applications are taught as building blocks to more complicated circuitry. The emphasis is on basic circuit applications rather than design. Students are required to build circuits and evaluate performance. A solid foundation in basic electricity and Ohm ? law is required. Prerequisite: ELT 1114 or consent of instructor. 3 lecture, 3 lab hours. (4 credit hour/special course fee)
