For Drafting & Design Technology students: This course introduces students to building construction methods used in light and heavy framed structures. For Construction Technology students: Students are introduced to employment opportunities in the construction trades. Students develop skills to interpret architectural plans. This course also introduces students to construction techniques, basic materials and tools and hardware used in light and heavy framed structures. (3 credit hours/special course fee)
