This course includes a unit on dental anatomy, which is the study of the development of the head and neck, face and oral cavity, along with the form and function of the structures of the oral cavity. It also includes disease transmission/infection control, a unit that prepares students with the knowledge and skills to prevent disease transmission through infection control procedures.
