This course teaches basic electricity, magnetism and circuitry as they pertain to diesel equipment. Course covers batteries, charging, starting and accessory circuits with emphasis on testing, maintenance and repair. The electronic systems of Peek, Pace and D-Deck II are studied. Safety and special tools are emphasized. 1 lecture hour, 2 lab hours. (2 credit hour/special course fee)
