Students learn terms and techniques used in the framing of building structures in this course. Students also shadow contractors, subcontractors, carpenters, roofers and other related trades and aid in the hands-on processes to develop skills to construct exterior walls, interior walls, ceiling joist, roof framing, exterior siding and trim. Safety is emphasized. (4 credit hour/special course fee)
