This course is a survey of the animal kingdom that acquaints the student with the nature of animals and their structure. The survey includes microscopic forms to mammals. The taxonomical classification of the Animal Kingdom is studied through a comparison of organ systems, structure, function, environment and behavior of animals. Prerequisite: BIOL 1401 with a grade of "C" or better. 3 lecture hours, 2 lab hours. (4 credit hours/special course fee) *NOTE: For transferability, Human Anatomy and Physiology I and II, or equivalent, must be taken at the same institution.
