This course provides an in-depth discussion of network infrastructure design, implementation and administration. Topics covered include network planning, design, implementation and configuration, network environmental considerations, network connectivity with both heterogeneous and homogenous systems, internetworking, as well as other relevant topics. The course is designed around the most current industry standard operating system. Prerequisite: CIS 2315. 3 lecture hours, 3 lab hours. (5 credit hours/special course fee)
