This course is designed to provide an overview of the college experience for military personnel interested in pursuing higher education. The course explains how military and civilian work experience and training can be assessed for college credit. In addition, students examine what it takes to be successful in college-level learning and the military. Topics covered include learning management with an overview of college and career opportunities, degree programs, and degree delivery options for military personnel; time management; goal setting; learning styles; reading, writing, note taking and test-taking strategies.
