This course provides an introduction to the fundamentals of electricity/electronics, including Ohm ? law, basic electrical circuits, wiring diagrams and common electrical symbols. Emphasis is placed on diagnosis and troubleshooting of electrical circuits, including familiarization with most common types of testing equipment. Includes starting systems, charging systems, microprocessors, sensors, actuators and power distribution networks. 7 lecture hours, 6 lab hours. (9 credit hour/special course fee)
