Credit Hours: 100 Cardiovascular conditioning, improved fitness, and weight management through various cycling workouts Includes an introduction to cycling, components of training, heart rate zone training, bike preparation and terminology, cycling health and personal safety, designing your training program, and pacing and group riding skills Also includes cycling techniques, cardiovascular fitness assessment, goal setting, and workout types for specific goals and distances Prerequisite(s): Course Corequisites: Information: May be taken three times for a maximum of three credit hours Information: All rides will be on roadways and riders must have their own bicycles; however, road or racing bicycles are not required Information: Helmets are required Offered: May not be offered this year, check class schedule
