Credit Hours: 900 Techniques of pre-hospital emergency medical care for the emergency medical technician Includes symptoms of illnesses, injuries, medical emergencies, appropriate medical techniques and ambulance operations Prerequisite(s): Course Corequisites: Information: Students must be 18 years of age when class begins Information: Students must have CPR certification at the Healthcare Provider or Professional Rescuer Level Information: Students must receive a minimum score of 80 on the College Reading Assessment test Information: Students must be able to lift 125lbs alone and 250lbs with a partner Information: Students must show proof of personal medical insurance Information: Students must meet with an advisor or EMT staff/faculty to complete a pre-enrollment worksheet prior to enrollment Offered: Fall, Spring, Summer
