1 class hour, 3 lab hours Introduces students to the fundamentals of refrigeration and air conditioning. This course begins with how the basic refrigeration cycle works. The student will be trained to safely use the tools required for this trade. Major topics discussed will be: ice refrigeration, ice making, compressors, controls, refrigerants, and hermetic systems.
