5 class hours/3 lab hours Introduces students to non-competitive skills which will enable them to better understand and appreciate the outdoor environment in Aroostook County. Students will learn basic skills pertaining to fall activities and become acquainted with outdoor recreation areas as well as the history of Aroostook County and the people who live here. Students will be introduced to the proper use of the necessary equipment in order to try specific skills in the field. Students will also be introduced to and practice sound outdoor ethics/etiquette which will benefit both the outdoors and those who use it.
