In VTEC 2571 the student will learn proper laboratory techniques to prevent contamination and zoonosis. The student will learn how to identify different bacteria through the use of agars, staining techniques, metabolic tests, and other methods. The student will also learn about the common bacteria groups found in veterinary medicine and their impact on the animals they infect.
