3 class hours Provides students with a working knowledge of the operating system, word processing and presentation graphics. Coverage of the operating system will include working with and organizing files, personalizing the Windows environment, and managing the Windows operating system. Coverage of word processing will consist of basic to some of the more advanced features of Word, from creating, editing and formatting a document to customizing Word and integrating it with the World Wide Web and other programs. Coverage of presentation graphics will consist of basic to the more advanced features of PowerPoint, from applying complex animation and sound effects to manipulating digital photographs and drawing diagrams and illustrations, as well as integrating slides with other Microsoft applications.
