This course consists of two eight-hour days of instruction. The first eight hours will include: a review of state and federal laws applicable to physical therapy; the process to apply for certification/licensure; practice national examination; fiscal and reimbursement considerations; and submission of a completed resume. The final eight hours will address: student reports on clinical affiliations III and IV; completion of a graduate exit survey and focus group discussions; a practice jurisprudence examination; discussion of future trends in physical therapy; review of the certification/licensure process; continuous quality improvement and lifelong learning. Must have completed sophomore year courses with a minimum grade of "C".
