6 lab hours In this course, students will rotate to specialty physician and provider offices and will solidify the roles and responsibilities of the Medical Assistant. The focus of this course will be to examine the role of the Medical Assistant as office and human resource manager. Advanced clinical skills such as venipuncture and surgical field set-up will be performed under the supervision of the preceptor. Pre/Corequisite: MDA 121, MDA 211
