Students will learn various restraint techniques, nursing skills, and common diseases associated with small animals. Students will become acquainted with how to restrain small animals, recognize common clinical signs of ill animals, common tests used for diagnosis, treatments, and how to medicate small animals. Students will also learn how to provide assistance to the veterinarian, and safety will be emphasized.
