Provides the student with a working knowledge of the need for appropriate use and dispensing of medication in all levels in veterinary medicine. Emphasis is placed on the veterinary technician role as the student learns the principles of drug actions, drug groups, inventory management, dosage calculation, dispensing, adverse drug reactions, and proper storage and disposal.
