This laboratory will include the demonstration and use of many diagnostic tests used in the veterinary clinic. Knowledge from VTEC1210 will be used by the student to understand the basis of these tests. The diagnostic tests will include CBC, hematocrit, differentials urinalysis, and preparation for cytology. The student should gain an appreciation for the limits of each test, safety and quality control, and interpretation of the results. VTEC majors only.
