The course is designed to introduce the student to the care of exotic animals. The student will learn various restraint techniques, nursing skills and common diseases associated with exotics. The student will become acquainted with how to handle exotics, recognize common clinical signs of the ill exotics, common tests used for diagnosis, treatments, and how to medicate exotic animals.
